We are very excited to launch the first ever season of Spring Ball Hockey in Wellesley. Bringing ball hockey to our community for the first time is something we are incredibly proud of, and we look forward to seeing players enjoy a fast paced and energetic version of the game.

The league runs Friday nights in Wellesley for seven weeks and is open to U6, U8, U12, and U16 divisions. This structure allows players of all ages to participate, compete, and develop in a fun and supportive environment.

Every registered player will receive an authentic NHL Street reversible sublimated jersey to keep, giving them a true game day feel each week.

Ball hockey offers tremendous benefits for both fitness and overall hockey development. Players improve cardiovascular endurance, agility, balance, coordination, and quickness. Without the glide of the ice, athletes must move their feet constantly, which builds leg strength and stamina. Ball hockey also enhances puck handling skills, shooting accuracy, spatial awareness, and decision making in tight spaces. The fast pace of the game encourages creativity and helps players develop strong hockey IQ.

This inaugural season is all about building excitement, growing the game locally, and giving our youth another opportunity to stay active and connected through sport.
